Pheels — Child Safety Standards
1. Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)
Pheels strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in every form. It is forbidden to create, upload, share, request, link to, or solicit child sexual abuse material (CSAM); to sexualize minors in any way; to groom, sextort, or attempt to contact minors for sexual purposes; or to traffic or facilitate the trafficking of minors.
This prohibition applies to all content and behavior across every Pheels surface — posts, Vibes, Echoes, live streams, comments, direct messages, group chats, profiles, the marketplace, and any other feature of the app.
2. Enforcement
- Violating content is removed immediately upon detection or review.
- Accounts involved in CSAE are permanently banned.
- We preserve evidence and report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and we cooperate with law enforcement as required by law.
- We comply with all applicable child safety laws and regulations in the regions where Pheels operates.
3. In-app reporting
Users can report content and accounts directly from inside the app. A report control is available on:
- posts (in the feed and in the full-screen viewer)
- comments on posts
- Echoes (24-hour stories), while the story is playing
- live streams, while the stream is running
- direct messages and chats
- user profiles
- marketplace sellers
Reporting asks for a reason — including nudity or sexual content, illegal or dangerous activity, and harassment — plus optional details. Reports go to a moderation queue where our team can remove the content, warn the account, or suspend the account. Child-safety reports are treated with the highest priority.
Users can also block any account at any time, which removes that account's content from their experience.
Anyone outside the app — including members of the public, child safety organizations, and authorities — can report concerns to the child safety contact in section 5.
4. Age requirements
Pheels is not directed at children. Users must meet the minimum age required by our Terms of Service. Age-restricted features such as live streaming additionally require adult (18+) age confirmation before they can be used.
5. Child safety point of contact
Our designated point of contact for child safety issues, including notices from authorities, child safety organizations, and the public:
We aim to respond to child-safety reports without delay.
6. Compliance with Google Play
Pheels adheres to Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and to the CSAE prohibitions described above. These standards are published publicly at this URL and are kept current.
